How to Apply a Re·Design with Prima® Furniture Transfer
Materials Needed:
* Re·Design with Prima® furniture transfer
* Application tool (comes with transfer)
* Low-tack painter‘s tape
* Soft cloth
* Water-based sealer or wax
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Surface – Ensure it‘s clean, dry, and fully cured if painted (48+ hours).
2. Position the Transfer – Keep the backing on, place it where desired, and secure with painter’s tape.
3. Apply the Transfer – Remove the backing, press the transfer onto the surface, and rub firmly with the tool.
4. Remove the Film – Slowly peel off the top sheet. If needed, rub any loose spots again.
5. Smooth & Seal – Use a soft cloth to press down edges, then seal with wax or a water-based sealer.
